Hi, we are Farris & Raihan a brother and sister duo that put our sibiling rivalry aside in order to craft the most culturally relevant and best tasting sparkling water there is. Born of first generation Afghan and Uzbek immigrants, we’ve had the unique upbringing of being raised in America with western ideals but mixed with Middle Eastern culture and values.

As children we spent our summers in Saudi Arabia visting family. Now as adults Farris (married to a Jordanian) spends his summers in Jordan, and Raihan (not married) spends her summers avoiding aunties telling her to get married.

We both were born with a creative itch. Raihan with aspirations of being an impressionist oil-painter and Farris with aspirations of being the next Martin Scorsese. Where did that take us?

Raihan a UX designer at Squarespace (A starving artist that wants to make money) and Farris a Software Engineer at Spotify (Unfortunately you can’t make movies with code). Despite these being excellent careers, we couldn’t quell our creative energies and needed an outlet. So we decided to put our unique skill sets together to make something we both can be proud of.

Why Middle Eastern Sparkling Water? First, the Middle East aspect, it’s a region filled with beauty, culture, and cuisine that we want more people to be familiar with. It’s baffling that we can’t name a single consumable Middle Eastern brand that is internationally recognized. We want to change that.

Second, the water aspect, I know you're asking why do a flavored sparkling water when so many already exist? We strongly feel there’s room for a brand that not only brings unique flavors to the market, but represents a proud culture and heritage in a space where there is no representation. We believe our skills and passions will create a brand that’s loved not just by the water drinkers of the Middle Eastern diaspora, but by the water drinkers of the world!
